יעקב מאור הוא עיתונאי תיירות עטור פרסים, טייס, ולשעבר כתב כלכלי בעיתון מעריב ובחדשות הרדיו של רשות השידור. חלק מהכתבות המתפרסמות בבלוג זה מתפרסמות גם בעיתונים The Jerusalem Post ו-ישראל היום.
