]]> https://www.jewishtraveler.co.il/phili-adrresses/#comment-913 Wed, 27 Mar 2019 07:14:45 +0000 https://www.jewishtraveler.co.il/?p=10221#comment-913 […] בבית הכנסת ״בית יעקב״ יש תפילה במנין בכל בוקר. מתפללים שם בנוסח יהודי חאלב. הרב הראשי של הפיליפינים הוא הרב אליהו עזריה, בוגר מכון שטראוס-עמיאל בגוש עציון, שהגיע לכאן עם משפחתו לפני 15 שנה. בשבתות מגיעים כמאה מתפללים מקומיים מכל רחבי העיר, ולפעמים גם תיירים ישראליים. בבנין הקהילה יש גם גן ילדים, ובקרוב יפתחו גם בית ספר יהודי. יש שם שפע שיעורי תורה למבוגרים. יומיים לפני שביקרתי שם ערכו מסיבת סיום למסכת ראש השנה. קבוצה אחרת לומדת שם מסכת בבא קמא. לקריאת המגילה ומסיבת פורים בשבוע שעבר הגיעו לביהכ"ס 120 איש.
